Through processes of weaving, knitting, sewing, and dyeing, my BFA thesis WARP SPEED explores ideas of utility, autonomy, labor, and adornment associated with craft. Each of these pieces was hand woven on a floor loom, some of them with hand dyed yarn. My aim was to create militaria for an imagined army of me.
